Stephanie Stretch (nee Seibert) has strong ties to Kitchener, where she was born, raised, and now currently resides with her family in the downtown area. She has invested in the schools, parks, playgrounds, and people of her childhood community and feels a deep sense of connection to the diverse population. Stephanie hopes to give back to the community that has given her so much.
Stretch's priority is to listen, and to advocate on behalf of residents. Stretch anticipates conversations on topics such as: affordable housing, health care, education, anti-racism, indigeneity, responsible development and design, expanding on access to green space, and environmental sustainability and protection.
The Ontario Green Party has pointed to the cracks in the systems we rely on, from climate ready jobs to mental health to housing. We need new solutions to decades long problems that the old-line parties have simply failed to solve. Ontario Greens have a plan to build the Ontario you want, and Stephanie wants the opportunity to be a part of that plan for Kitchener Centre.
Stephanie Stretch lives in Kitchener and works with her husband, two daughters, new pup "Snoopy," and her in-laws. Stephanie has over a decade of professional experience working in the not-for-profit sector, where she directly supports and advocates for children, youth, and families with Pathways to Education at Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health (Formally Carizon Family and Community Services).
